community Donation Requests

Farm 12 is a social enterprise of Step By Step. It was created to:
Preserve a historic piece of farmland
Enrich lives holistically and strengthen families
Create job opportunities
Serve as a gathering place for our community
Generate profits to support the mission of Step By Step
We would love to support every cause, business, and individual. However, as a nonprofit ourselves, we are unable to fulfill every request. Our Community Donations Committee reviews requests using the following guidelines:
Organizations must have 501(c)(3) status and be located within 10–15 miles of Farm 12
Primary priority is given to organizations that support healthy children and families
Secondary priority is given to organizations that help bridge gaps for families, such as addressing major inequalities or creating job opportunities
The committee meets quarterly to review requests from the previous quarter. 2026 meeting dates are: April 1, July 8, October 7, and January 6, 2027.
Please submit requests at least three months before your event date. All requests will be reviewed, and selected organizations will be notified within one week of the meeting. We only contact organizations whose requests have been approved.
